OUR STORY
Founded by Vanessa Onwughalu, Sajo was born from a desire to create fashion that is bold, elegant, and deeply personal. Having lived in Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and the USA,
Vanessa’s global perspective shaped her vision—one where heritage meets modernity, and style is not just worn, but felt.
Her love for florals and textile illustration began in 2009 during her Textiles class at St George’s Ascot,
where she first discovered how fabric, movement, and self-expression intertwine.
What started as an artistic passion soon became an obsession—one that would evolve into Sajo’s signature: original, hand-illustrated prints that embody sensuality, confidence, and fluidity.
Sajo is more than acollection; it is an invitation—to step into a world where beauty is intentional, where every design speaks, and where you are always the main character.
